The Institute is established to promote sports
performance, recreational & sports safety, community health
& wellness, continuing professional education, and industrial
health through ongoing education and awareness programs.

TSM Institute
Tennessee Sports Medicine Institute is established
to promote sports health & safety, community health & wellness,
continuing professional education and industrial health & safety through
ongoing educational and awareness programs.
Founded by Charles
R. Kaelin, MD and Gregory
G. White, MD, the Institute has named National
Baseball Hall of Famer Gaylord
Perry and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bobby
Bell as Co-Chairmen to the Advisory Council.
For more than a decade, these outstanding individuals have spent time in
the Middle Tennessee community to help promote the mission of the Institute.
Also on the Advisory Council are Baseball Hall of Famers Lou
Brock and Ozzie
Smith, Pro Football Hall of Famer Mel
Renfro, and Motor Sports Hall of Famer A.J.
Foyt.
The Institute boasts a conference center that is nearly 1,800 square feet
and is capable of hosting lectures, banquets, and meetings. The facility,
which can be set up to host two concurrent sessions, is available to host
to your organizations meeting, as well.
The TSM Institute offers the following community programs:
