Charles R. Kaelin, earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville, and completed his orthopaedic training at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida. Dr. Kaelin also received training in Sports Medicine at Alabama Sports Medicine with Dr. Lemak, specializing in Sports medicine and workman’s compensation injuries. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He remains a “Fellow” of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, currently serves as a Team Physician and Adjunct Professor at Cumberland University (Lebanon, TN). Dr. Kaelin has served as a National Instructor in Meniscal Transplantation at the Orthopaedic Academies in Chicago, is a member of the International Cartilage Repair Society, and has served as Sports Medicine Director for many of the local high school sports programs. He recently agreed to serve on the Editorial Board for the American College of Sports Medicine’s Health and Fitness Journal.
